The Centenary of Wheat in the Golden Triangle Committee

"On the 27th of September 2008 we held a black tie gala ball in the North Star Silos. This event was held as it this year marks 100 years since wheat was first grown in the North Star area. Holding a ball in a silo had not been done before in the district and decorating and setting up the silo was done very easily by the help of Event Illusions in Toowoomba.
North Star is situated 3 hours south of Toowoomba and I was able to order all the decorations I needed by telephone and e-mail. This was great help as I have a young family and at the moment I don’t travel north of Goondiwindi or south of Moree!
We had 500 people attend our Gala Black Tie Ball and everyone was amazed at the sheer size of the silo the how beautifully decorated the silo was.
The Centenary of Wheat in the Golden Triangle Committee has Desley and Gail from Event Illusions to thank for this. If we were to ever hold another event out here at North Star we wouldn’t hesitate in using Event Illusions. They were very professional and helpful every step of the way."

Where do I start to say how grateful I was to meet you both and to have you guidance on making our wedding day so special!!! The day was the BEST day of my life and you could tell as I just couldn’t wipe the smile off my face!!!! The best thing for me was knowing that you had everything under control and if I had forgotten anything you knew how to cover it up and I really believe that you have both been gifted with your unique talent of using colours and bringing it out in the best atmosphere of a special occasion. You were wonderful and on the ball when I wanted to run things past or even ask for suggestions or ways to keep it in my budget you didn’t hesitate to help. I want to say that anyone thinking of having a decorator don’t look anywhere else because these women are the best TRUST ME! I thank you once again for all you have done and I wish you all the best for the future when we relocate down to Toowoomba I will be sure to throw another party and will have no hesitation in calling!
